Overview

Shaghalny is a student-focused freelancing marketplace built with a React/TypeScript frontend and Express/MongoDB backend. It gives students a way to prove capability, apply to client jobs, manage contracts, and get paid, while clients can review verified talent through structured proposals and escrow-backed contracts.

Problem

Early-career students need credible proof of skill before clients trust them with paid work, and clients need a cleaner path from job post to verified candidate, contract, and payment without managing everything in separate tools.

Solution

Built an end-to-end marketplace with role-based student, client, and admin workspaces; verified-skill proposal eligibility; Gravis AI video interview workflows; contract and escrow lifecycle; wallet top-up and withdrawal flows; events and notifications; PWA offline support; and production CI/CD plus monitoring.
